In May 2023, a new photovoltaic system with 243 modules was commissioned at our location in Huerth. The system has a total capacity of 100 kW.
In 2024, over 55 MWh of renewable energy has already been generated. This marks a significant step towards sustainable energy and reducing our carbon footprint.
We use 3D printing technology to produce phase separation internals of laboratory scale for our technical center. It enables the manufacture of special separation internals, which are impossible to produce through traditional method. And 3D printing typically uses only the amount of essential material needed to make the part, it can also contribute to the sustainability of our production.
We've put robots in our production process of phase separation internals. The robots can work without mistakes and break. Through precise programme control, robots can perform these tasks efficiently, greatly improving production efficiency and quality. The reproducibility of the products can also be guaranteed.
As a global company, we are continuously striving for innovative solutions for our well-known customers of the chemical and steel industries. We see it as our responsibilty to manufacture our products as sustainable and non-polluting as possible.
We were able to demonstrate this again this year in accordance with the EcoVadis CSR rating and are pleased about the renewed award.
